These updates are available on the beta channel for appliances on the 0.8.7 line (including RC builds).

JTAPI phone-control platform + greetings

  • New JTAPI phone-control platform — end-to-end sidecar integration: setup wizards, CTI port pools with health monitoring, device discovery, and a full call-thread timeline. Nodes stay manageable in the UI even when CUCM or the sidecar is briefly unreachable.

  • Automated greeting/consent playback — inject compliance and consent greetings into live calls (including outbound) via the phone's built-in bridge, with per-direction rules, schedules, and audio management (upload, rename, playback). The default greeting can be toggled on or off.

  • Self-healing CTI — ports and devices auto-reconcile and auto-repair, stuck devices recover on their own, and an "Audit" button flags expected-vs-actual mismatches with one-click "Fix All."

  • Health dashboards and text-to-speech greetings — cluster and sidecar status, live device monitoring, diagnostics, and greeting audio generated from text (not just uploaded).

Analytics

  • AI-assisted reporting — report links from the AI assistant carry your filters and parameters automatically.

Phone Visibility

  • Clickable KPI cards jump straight to a filtered view (e.g. everything unregistered).

  • Live discovery:

    • Runs auto-refresh the dashboard.

    • A Discovery Run view shows per-phone logs and history.

  • More reliable, configurable discovery — paginates full call-manager phone lists (no truncation on large clusters), with tunable batch size, pacing, and rate-limiting controls.

  • Richer phone details — MAC address, CIDR/subnet, and physical button info per device.

  • Hardened registration-status reporting.

  • Phones without extensions are no longer dropped from reports.

  • Foundation for custom phone branding.

Policy/Workflows

  • CURRI visibility:

    • Policy history shows response and processing time per decision.

    • Live call events carry human-readable policy and rule names with proper timestamps.

  • Device Call Quota policy app:

    • Cap concurrent calls per device or group as a governable rule, with new violation and block counters on watch-list policies.

    • CURRI events link to the triggering rule.

    • Hit counts stay accurate through bulk imports.

  • Workflow and Teams UX refresh:

    • Clearer navigation, tabs, and an alerts sidebar.

    • Attach a workflow to an alert destination and pull its output in as message tokens.

    • See per-contact delivery results after a test send.

  • Unified call investigation — single investigation view, legal hold and evidence export, and end-to-end call timeline tools.

  • Faster, lighter policy-history and TrueSpam lookups under growing call volume.

Config Audit

  • Faster directory sync from CUCM for larger organizations.

  • Alert preferences survive a sync instead of being reset.

Appliance

  • Active license management:

    • Automatic email warnings as a license nears expiration (30/14/7/1 days, plus lapse day).

    • Premium features (including JTAPI call control) check licensing at point of use.

    • Fixed a bug hiding hardware details for licensed Community-tier phones.

  • Safer backup and recovery:

    • Compare snapshots against live configuration.

    • Appliance alarm activity reported for faster diagnosis.

  • Data tooling — CSV import for block lists, improved device import, and a clearer update-available indicator.

  • More reliable traceroute, syslog, and SFTP services.

Product Polish

  • Version update notifications in the profile menu.

  • Sync run history — faster and clearer, with searchable logs, display names, and CSV export.

Reliability

  • Faster, safer boot and upgrades:

    • Pre-upgrade CPU/disk/I/O checks.

    • Idempotent first-time setup.

  • Unified data retention — stale device records are auto-removed.

  • Stays responsive under heavy call load, even during sudden bursts of activity.

  • More reliable background processing — report refreshes, device syncs, and audit logging run without stalling or duplicating work.
